Demi - Soloist of the Wiener Staatsballett

Alexandra Inculet received her training at Canada's National Ballet School. In 2008 and 2009 she was honored with the Peter Dwyer Award. From 2009 to 2011 she was an apprentice with the National Ballet of Canada and danced in choreographies by Christopher Wheeldon, Lindsay Fischer, James Kudelka and George Balanchine, among others. As part of the YouDance Apprentice program, she performed in ballets by August Bournonville, Rudi van Dantzig and Roberto Camponella. She participated in the Banff Summer Arts Festival, where she was seen in “Who Cares?” by Balanchine and Jiři Kylián's “Toss of a Dice”. In 2011, she became a member of the Ballet Junior de Gèneve, where she danced in works by Alexander Ekman, Ken Ossola, Gilles Jobin and Patrick Delcroix and was a soloist in Thierry Malandain's “La Mort du Cygne”. She made a guest appearance with Ballet BC Vancouver in “Giselle” by José Navas. From 2013 to 2020, Alexandra Inculet was a Ballett am Rhein Düsseldorf Duisburg member, where Martin Schläpfer created numerous roles for her. She has also danced in works by George Balanchine, Robert Binet, August Bournonville, Martin Chaix, Nils Christe, Merce Cunningham, William Forsythe, Martha Graham, Jiří Kylián, Hans van Manen, Ohad Naharin, Jerome Robbins and Paul Taylor.

For the 2020/21 season, she joined the Vienna State Ballet as a demi-soloist, where her roles included Madame Larina in John Cranko's “Onegin”, Big Swans and Spanish Dancer in Rudolf Nureyev's “Swan Lake”, in Jiří Kylián's “Symphony of Psalms”, Merce Cunningham's “Duets”, Paul Taylor's “Promethean Fire”, Ohad Naharin's “Tabula Rasa”, Elena Chernishova's “Giselle”, John Neumeier's “The Lady of the Camellias”, Adi Hanan's world premiere of “Eden” and works by George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins and Martin Schläpfer - including as Fée Coulante in the world premiere of “Sleeping Beauty”.
