January 31, 2020
By learning traditional rules and techniques that have been passed from one generation to another over the centuries, classical ballet offers children the opportunity to develop self-confidence, self-discipline, posture and artistic sense.
Under the guidance of the professional ballet teacher, the students will develop creativity, grace, and balance that will help to release the natural talent all children are gifted with.
Classes are held 1 or 2 times a week. Attending classes regularly is the key to making most out of the program. Routine helps children grasping all the principles and movements fast and enjoy the visible progress.
Children’s class attendees can also visit monthly workshops that will introduce them to the new dance styles and expand their knowledge. At the end of the school year, all children will be awarded the honorary certificates acknowledging their accomplishments.
MINI BALLET 4 - 5 Years
For the youngest students, ballet is a fun and demanding activity at the same time, an activity with many benefits that they will cherish all their lives. Ballet teaches them how to stand properly, how to walk with grace and how to gain an enviable posture. The program of these courses includes elementary movements of classical ballet technique, ground exercises, creative exercises of movement in space, all explained in the sense of the small learners.
PRE BALLET 6 - 9 Years
Numerous benefits are associated with acquiring knowledge in the art of classical ballet. In addition to learning the traditional technique, academic dance courses create a positive self-image in the minds and bodies of young learners. Following this ballet course, children will be challenged intellectually, learning to organize steps in movement phrases, memorizing rules, choreography, and routes. The ballet hour is made up of the structure of an hour of professional studies, including exercises at the bar, at the center of the hall, elements of coordination, placement and discipline characteristic of classical ballet.
JUNIOR BALLET 10 - 14 Years
The courses follow the program of a professional hour of ballet studies, warm-up exercises, at the bar, in the middle, jumps, and diagonals (pointes for those of age and the necessary training). The elements of creative movement will be accentuated by coordination exercises and dances in sequence, the predetermination of special formations and exercises that emphasize the awareness of the body.
