It’s very important to have a great start in ballet training because you need to understand the fundamentals and the concept of it, so that you can enjoy the classes and never stop improving. It’s never too late to follow your dream and to explore the limits of your body in a graceful way.
In a friendly and welcoming environment, with instruction and attention, you will practice the basic body positions, fundamental exercises as plie and tendu, and appropriate body alignment and posture. Musicality and coordination will also be developed, as we move on with the training.
Dance experience is not required. You will improve your coordination, body balance and strength. You will work on your flexibility and discover freedom of movement. Posture, alignment, flexibility, and grace! You will gain expression, artistry, and confidence.
The workout doesn't require any experience in dancing; all the exercises are created in a light manner, with posture and balance the main objectives. We will involve the whole body with progressive exercises and movements, and a breathing technique will be explained so we can have a great start to the day. You can expect floor exercises and center port de bras, all combined for a complete workout ballet class. This class is good for those seeking a clever approach to a full body workout, and also for experienced dancers wishing to improve their posture, balance, body alignment, and grace. If you have been taking ballet classes for a year now, this is the right class for you to join. The barre exercises are downtempo, small center combinations are becoming more fluid, and we will put an accent on grace and strength. You will learn pirouette technique, balance, and center exercises will become small choreographed sequences.
A beginner ballet class will have barre exercises, center ones, and jumps as well. You can join the class if you are ready to build upon your ballet training or if you would like to improve the basics and remember the correct form.
This is a class dedicated to the ones who have trained before, the level is intermediate. The program is more demanding and the class contains all the exercises from barre, center work, and jumps. The tempo is medium and you will perform longer exercises. You can expect a class that builds on the Russian way of teaching and complex exercise sequences. I always encourage my students to respect the basic principles of ballet and work in a clean and elegant way. A Ballet class for the ones who took ballet classes before!
